Treatment at the Clinic
Visit the “Bad Breath Doctor” at the Center for Breath Treatment
Until recently, most treatments have been generally unsuccessful in resolving bad breath conditions. Common solutions such as mouthwashes, mints, chewing gums, mouth sprays, tonsillectomies, and intestinal cleansing (otherwise known as colonics) are simply inadequate and generally don’t really address the underlying issues that cause chronic bad breath.
There are many websites offering ‘magic’ breath products, but at the Center for Breath Treatment, we have found most of these to be ineffective. Most patients come to the clinic after suffering from halitosis for 15-20 years. Most have been experimenting with products without ever knowing what the true causes of their halitosis are. An accurate diagnosis allows one to understand the causes of a breath condition, and this is fundamental to obtaining effective treatment.
The surest way to achieve fully understand the specific causes of a chronic bad breath is to be examined and tested at our specialized halitosis clinic. Any other method will merely be guesswork or assumptions.
When appropriate, patients in our clinic may receive prescription medications tailored to their needs. These types of medications are not available through our online store or through our Home Treatment programs because they are restricted by law.
The Halitosis Doctor is In
At the Center for Breath Treatment’s halitosis clinic, we feel that the treatment of halitosis should be no different than the treatment of any other health condition. During your initial appointment, you will undergo a thorough examination and health history screening. Over the years we have found there are always multiple causes of a person’s halitosis. For this reason, it takes a combination approach to effectively treat each case.
As part of the diagnostic process every patient undergoes an in-depth interview with Dr. Anthony Dailley, followed by a thorough examination, any necessary x-rays, an analysis of the patient’s breath and sinus gasses. Often times an analysis of the saliva and of the salivary flow is performed in our office.
If you have dental insurance we will assist you in getting reimbursement from your dental insurance company for treatment in our halitosis clinic.
